SMILE is dedicated to providing foster families with at least a week’s worth of children’s outfits,

shoes, seasonal outerwear, hygiene products,

necessary baby equipment and Beds (when available).

FOSTER FAMILY

Foster families step up when the need is greatest. They provide a stable, loving, and nurturing environment. They are committed to ensuring every child that enters their home receives the best care possible. Just as foster families are devoted to the children they serve, SMILE is devoted to ensuring foster families are taken care of!

KINSHIP PLACEMENT

When adults encounter life-changing circumstances and are unable to take care of their children, DCS does their best to place the children with a close relative, family member, or friend. Most placements receiving kinship children are either unprepared or unable to prepare for the arrival of these children. SMILE strives to ensure that these children are included in their mission and local charity events.

AT-RISK FAMILIES

Times can be tough. When DCS and affiliates are actively involved to assist a struggling family SMILE is here to help too. We know it can be a challenging journey during today’s economy. That’s why part of SMILE’s mission is to help and include at-risk families that are currently working with DCS and their affiliates.
